Zhihan Ying is an interaction and visual designer with a background in industrial design and architecture. She has strong visual communication skill, while focusing on digital experience and interactive product design. She recently graduated from Art Center College of Design, Media Design Practices Program (MFA). Currently she is a design intern at Samsung Research America.
She has been focusing on design for the past six years. Her past experience has developed her into a well-rounded designer. She is adept at user research, problem framing, concept ideation, wireframing, both digital and physical prototyping. The 6-year-experience in design equips her with a deep understanding about how to translate insights from user studies and business goals into meaningful actions and pleasing experiences, and made her into an enthusiastic self-starter and an excellent team player. As a UI/UX designer, she has experiences to work with clients, product managers and engineers to deliver mobile products, and integrate feedbacks into product iterations.
Zhihan's interdisciplinary design practice brings up new design ideas, concepts and lifestyles that allow people to smoothly interact with the physical environment or with each other. She is comfortable with utilizing iterative research methodologies to craft interactive and visual experiences that explores emerging technological trends and future speculations.
